writing, performing, creating.

I'm Jason Romine, an award-winning writer creating character-driven stories for television, film, and fiction.

My work explores what happens when ordinary people are pushed beyond their capacity to cope—and somehow find humor, grace, or meaning in the process.

Current projects include Exhausted, an award-winning dramedy about sobriety, family, and second chances, and Parasocial, a psychological thriller about loneliness, celebrity, and the dangerous illusion of intimacy.

Exhausted, follows Rob, a newly sober family man putting the pieces of his life together following a near tragedy. Rob discovers his own neurodivergence through the diagnoses of his kids. Add a struggling family business, a wife and a couple dogs and you’ve got the idea.
